Dedicated Mobile App to 100 years of Jallianwala Bagh Massacre, Amritsar (Punjab)
Hundred years ago on the Baisakhi of 1919, the massacre of innocent Indians at Amritsar, in which hundreds were mercilessly shot dead and thousands brutally injured created reverberations that paved the way for the end of the British Raj. It opened the eyes of even those who had full faith in the British sense of justice. It kindled the flame of love for the country in the heart of every Indian. The Indian National Movement no longer remained confined to a small elite group but became a mass movement in the true sense of the word. A large number of groups belonging to different social, political and religious denominations started their struggle for the emancipation of India from the British rule.
