The Kashmir Premier League is a professional Twenty20 cricket league founded in 2021. The league consists of six teams, five of which represent cities in Pakistan-administered Azad Kashmir. One team represents Kashmiris living abroad. Teams compete in a double round-robin format, with the top four teams qualifying for the playoffs and, ultimately, the championship game known as the KPL Cup Final. The KPL matches will not be given official T20 status. The first edition of the league will run from August 6th to August 16th, 2021.
