Which data is displayed on the watch?
The distance and the direction* to a geocache.
* the direction can be displayed if the watch has a compass
Can only the watch be used for geocaching?
Yes, under the following conditions:
- the watch has a GPS sensor
- Geocaches were transferred / saved to the watch using the phone app
If the watch has no GPS sensor, the location of the mobile phone is synchronized with the watch. In this case, the app on the watch will only work with a connection to the phone.
How does WearGo work?
- install WearGo on the phone and on the watch
- connect your phone to the watch
- add geocaches
- select a geocache
The data is then displayed on the watch.
How can geocaches be added?
- entering your own coordinates
- importing GPX files
- (optional) using the app c:geo
- (optional) using the app Locus Map
What permissions are required?
Location: is needed to determine the own position and to calculate the distance to the geocache.
Internal storage (optional): required for importing GPX files
