Users can now take assessments for lessons completed. You will be directed to the MTN Online School web app where you will need to login.
When an update to the course library has been made, the user will be prompted to update.
MTN Online School currently targets learners from Grade 10 to 12 to receive quality learning tools online that supplements the South African curriculum.
MTN Online School prioritizes the education of all learners, including second chance matric learners, granting them an opportunity to upskill and expand their capabilities.
Using the MTN Online School mobile app, learners are able to:
- Select from a list of libraries to access content that is relevant to them
- Access videos and documents for each lesson
- Perform an assessment to test their knowledge for each lesson
- Track their achievements by revising assessment results
- Join live broadcast sessions run by our live studio
- Download and access content while offline
Learners using the MTN network will use the platform and access the content for free, however there will be data charges in browsing and downloading if you are not registered as an MTN network user.
After installing the app, learners will be prompted to allow the app to access their device’s internal storage.
This is required in order to access the libraries of subjects, lessons and content resources that exist within the in the mobile apps internal storage. Learners will also be able to download lesson content onto their mobile device to assist with continued learning while offline.

Here users can register for courses, access content, and informal assessments. Teachers can access their student results and perform other management tasks.
Please note that the aggregation, development and alignment of content is continuing and as a result the scope and quality of resources will improve and change with each new update.
