Bug fixed and improvements
The app Cicleta emerges as an experiment. The main objective is to allow users to quickly check in a list as well as in a map the number of available bicycles and free spaces in the nearest Bicimadrid stations. Or, if you get confused, you can search by name, address or station number.
Besides, for all those who go to work, back home, to class, etc., we provide the option of saving your favorite stations so that you can check their status at a glance.
These are our features for the time being. We don’t want to compete with Bicimadrid’s official app, just complement it, help users and promote the use of public bicycles in the city. It is just one step towards smart cities, where technology improves citizens’ lives.
The information that we display belongs to Bicimad. We are extremely respectful with their platform. We have introduced our service in order to process in our system the data traffic generated by their app, searching and filling in incomplete data. For Bicimad we are just like an average user. We are fighting for Open Dara, but it still doesn’t seem possible.
