the underdog.
White Fang (1906) - White Fang, three-fourths wolf and onefourth dog, develops a reputation as the fiercest dog in the
northwest. A complementary tale to The Call of the Wild, it tells
of the gradual domestication of a wild dog rather than the
reversion of a house dog to the wild.
