The annual meeting is the most important event for the Physics Society of Taiwan (TPS). It provides an unique platform for physicists from Taiwan and all of the world to report their latest research results. In the past few years, the meeting attracted more than 2,000 participants each year.

The 2021 annual meeting will be hosted by Chung Yuan Christian University (CYCU) from January 27 to 29, 2021, at Taoyuan, Taiwan. There will be plenary talks delivered by distinguished speakers on the most exciting new developments and parallel section talks on progress in a broad range of research fields in pure and applied physics and physics education. There are also Topical Symposia on Bioimaging and Biophysics, Quantum Computer and Quantum Communication, Emerging Energy Science, and Numerical Methods for Quantum Manybody Systems: Machine Learning and Physics. There will also be business meetings, outreach programs, and a meeting for the chairs of physics institutes in Taiwan.
