The Toyota Hilux, are the compact vans manufactured and marketed by Toyota Motor Corporation. The Hilux name was adopted as a replacement for the Stout in 1969, and remains in use around the world. In North America, the Hilux name was reformed in 1976 in favor of the Truck, Van, until it was rebranded as Tacoma in 1995.
