Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is a political party based on principles and ideals. It is not a party of any particular family, caste or class. The thread connecting BJP workers is โ India's cultural values, our loyalties and resolve to achieve India's ultimate glory; And at the same time the confidence that with our effort we will achieve them.
If we want to say the ideology of BJP in one line, it is 'Bharat Mata Ki Jai'. India means 'own country'. The country which extends from the Himalayas to Kanyakumari and which nature has given us in the form of a monolithic landmass. She is our mother and we all Indians are her children. Being the child of a mother, all Indians are brothers and sisters. By saying Bharat Mata, along with one land and one people, our one culture also remains in focus. In this mother's jai, our resolve is declared and in the ultimate glory is the happiness of all the children of the mother and the establishment of peace and happiness in the world on the basis of our culture. This is 'Bharat Mata Ki Jai'.
Integral Humanism is our basic philosophy as per Article 3 of the Constitution of BJP. This philosophy teaches us to have a holistic view of human body, mind, growth and soul. This philosophy does not see any conflict between man and society, but sees the natural development of man and his perfection through the expansion of his consciousness to the family, village, state, country and creation. This philosophy sees the relation of the mother between nature and man, in which the things of their need are exploited while keeping nature healthy.
There are five loyalties mentioned in Article 4 of the Constitution of the BJP. Integral humanism and these five allegiances form the entire fabric of our ideological foundation.
(1) Nationalism and National Integration: We believe that India is not a group of nations, not even a budding nation, but it is an eternal nation. From the Himalayas to Kanyakumari, this is a country determined by nature. The countrymen consider this land and land as their mother. The basis of this feeling of his is the ancient culture and the values โโof life derived from it. We are familiar with the diversity of this vast country. Diversity is the beauty of this country and there is a wide unity among them all. This diversity and unity is the specialty of India. Our nationalism is cultural, not just geographical. That is why there were many states in India's land, but culture kept the nation tied and united.
(2) Democracy: A mantra from the world's oldest known book Rigveda 'Ekam Sad Viprah Bahudha Vadanti is noteworthy. It means Truth is one. Scholars express this in different ways. It has come in the nature of India that no one has the truth. What I am saying is also correct, what you are saying is also correct. This mantra is the basis of Vichar Swatantra (Freedom of Thought and Expression).
There is another mantra in Sanskrit - 'Vade Vaade Jayate Tattva Bodh:'. This means that through discussion we reach the right principle. This mantra of reaching the truth through discussion creates a democratic nature in India. Both these mantras have shaped the nature of democracy in India. Indian society has adopted the nature of this democracy. Democracy is the system according to Indian society.
