Quickify uses method of speed reading called RSVP, in which words are shown in small portions in the same place on the screen.

In a normal reading session your eyes have to make lots of micro-movements to look at each word in a line.
These movements from one word to the next take time and thus slow down the reading process.
This is especially noticeable when reading on the go or in moving vehicles
Reportedly, eye movement costs up to 30% of the total reading time.
