আইসিসি টি ২০ বিশ্বকাপের সময়সূচী প্রকাশ করেছে আইসিসি। টি-টোয়েন্টি বিশ্বকাপ 2022 সময়সূচী (t20 world cup 2022 schedule) অনুযায়ী এবারের বিশ্বকাপে অংশগ্রহণ করবে মোট ১৬টি দল। এবারের টি-টোয়েন্টি বিশ্বকাপের জন্য আয়োজক দেশ হিসেবে থাকছে অস্ট্রেলিয়া।
যেহেতু অস্ট্রেলিয়ার মাটিতে এবারের টি-টোয়েন্টি বিশ্বকাপ অনুষ্ঠিত হতে যাচ্ছে ফলে এশিয়ার দলগুলোর জন্য এবারের বিশ্বকাপে ভালো করাটা হবে এক ধরনের চ্যালেঞ্জ।
টি-টোয়েন্টি বিশ্বকাপ ২০২২(t20 world cup 2022 qualifiers) এর প্রথম ম্যাচ অনুষ্ঠিত হবে ১৩ ই অক্টোবর শ্রীলংকা ও নামিবিয়ার মুখোমুখির মাধ্যমে।এবারের বিশ্বকাপে মোট ১৬ টি দলের অংশগ্রহণের মাধ্যমে ৪৫ টি ম্যাচ অনুষ্ঠিত হবে যার ফাইনাল ম্যাচ অনুষ্ঠিত হবে ১৩ নভেম্বর।
টি-টোয়েন্টি বিশ্বকাপ ২০২২ দুই পর্বে অনুষ্ঠিত হবে। প্রথম পর্বে ৮টি দল দুটি গ্রুপে ৪টি করে দলে বিভক্ত হবে।প্রথম পর্বের জন্য যে ৮টি দল রয়েছে তারমধ্যে শ্রীলংকা, ওয়েস্ট ইন্ডিজ, নামিবিয়া, সংযুক্ত আরব আমিরাত, স্কটল্যান্ড ও আয়ারল্যান্ড নির্ধারিত।
বাকি দুটি দল বৈশ্বিক টুর্নামেন্ট থেকে রেংকিং বিবেচনায় নির্ধারিত হবে। এই ৮টি দল দুটি গ্রুপে(এ ও বি) তে বিভক্ত হবে। প্রথম পর্ব থেকে এ" গ্রুপের চ্যাম্পিয়ন ও রানার্সআপ এবং বি" গ্রুপের চ্যাম্পিয়ন ও রানার্সআপ মোট চারটি দল বিশ্বকাপের মূল পর্বে খেলার যোগ্যতা অর্জন করবে।(t20 world cup 2022 groups)
