Zepto is a grocery delivery service providing on-demand groceries to consumers. This app is meant for our driver fleet that will be delivering these orders to the customers.
The app enables drivers to accept orders, collect proof of deliveries and the location of the driver collected by the app provides live tracking to the end customer.
We collect delivery persons' precise or approximate location data, to enable pickup/delivery tracking and allocation. Zepto collects this data when the Zepto app is running in the foreground (app open and on-screen) or background (app open but not on-screen) of their mobile device.
