The UTP Cable (RJ45) app is the perfect solution to make your UTP Cable (RJ45).
Unshielded Twisted Pair (UTP) cables are the most common cables used in computer networking. UTP cables used for Ethernet consists of four twisted pairs of colored cables. The UTP cable is connected to a system by using a RJ45 connector.
The UTP Cable app can be used for reference and/or education and is divided in four parts:
- Do It Yourself
- Wiring Reference (color scheme)
- Cable Reference
- CAT Categories
The UTP Cable (RJ45) app shows the two different wire schemes in use for UTP cables. Those T568A and T568B color schemes are displayed in very clear pictures to understand the difference. Also the different UTP cable types, straight and crossover cables, are shown. The usage of both UTP cable types are explained in an easy to understand table. The Do It Yourself part of the app explains clearly in five steps how to crimp the connector in the correct way on a UTP cable.
