HOW DOES IT WORK?
Instead of posting content of yourself, you post content of your avatar -- no human faces allowed. Your profile (which must be approved by the moderation team), can only showcase avatars. After creating a profile and setting your age and gender filters, you scroll through potential love interests. If you both like each other, you can then text to coordinate and meet up for a VR Date. One thing’s for sure: Nevermet isn’t a dating app based on your natural looks.
AVATARS? YES, AVATARS
Users upload pictures of their avatar(s) to their profile and tag their VR communities. To capture photos and videos of their avatars, people generally use in-game cameras available in their VR community’s world. Common avatar worlds include: VRChat, Oculus / Meta / Horizon, Altspace, Rec Room, Zepeto, Avakin, and IMVU.
