Shortboxed is the premier app to buy and sell collectible comic books. We grew frustrated with the old way of buying and selling - getting scammed on social media, expensive buyer’s premiums and commission fees, antiquated websites, consignment, comic cons without comics - the list goes on. We believe there's a better way. Shortboxed is a modern, mobile-only marketplace featuring a curated collection of third-party authenticated comic books from dealers and collectors all over the U.S.A.
How does it work?
Sellers, including dealers, comic shop owners, and collectors, list their items for sale on Shortboxed, while buyers browse and discover thousands of third-party graded comic books. When someone buys a book, the seller confirms if the book is available, then the order gets processed and the seller receives a pre-paid shipping label to ship the book out. Sellers get paid once the book is confirmed delivered. Super simple!
Shortboxed is the easiest way to list books for sale!
Just scan the CGC barcode, take a front pic, take a back pic, and enter a price - that’s it! We take care of the rest, including exposure to thousands of collectors daily. We approve and process every single listing, which can take up to 24 hours for a submission to be live on the app.

We currently only feature third-party graded comic books, so you can feel confident that you will receive the exact book you purchased, with no shenanigans.
