Improvements:
- TTX calculation takes daylight saving time into account
Back in the beginning of the 21st century, a community of people started referring to the number of days until the 24th of December as TTX, short for Time To Xmas. References to TTX could be found across different forms of communication and the frequency of such references increased as Xmas approached. TTX ended up becoming the de facto Xmas countdown standard, adopted within the existing community and made known to new members. Despite the geographical spread of community members, not only TTX has been kept alive to date but also its scope has broadened to the number of days until any yearly (*) day, known as X day.
This app aims at restoring TTX golden years by empowering its users with TTX at the tip of their fingers. No more missing that important event within your favorite number of days; no more lame excuses not to provide the unknown passerby with whom you have a déjà vu feeling with the number of days till the next leap day; no more opportunities lost when you're asked the time to New Year's Eve at that crucial interview or television contest; and, above all, the beginning of a new era where family and friends are naturally reminded about the number of days left till Xmas.
To the members of the TTX community, this app should come naturally with no surprises. To others, whether you have a real need to track remaining time or you're just a countdown fan, welcome to the TTX movement.
