The new Matkahuolto Trips and Tickets application helps you find the best door-to-door public transport route to your destination, view the route on the map and purchase the ticket for the entire journey. This will be the first ever application in Finland that covers both long-distance and local transport options.
The features in the initial version include all Matkahuolto timetable information and adult tickets including the popular online special offers. The application also includes the local timetables and single tickets for Helsinki Region (HSL), Hämeenlinna and Savonlinna.
In the future, the Trips and Tickets application will be added plenty of features: new local transport regions, travel services and discounted tickets for special groups (children, students etc.), eventually covering the entire Finland.
