Tailor's calculator is an application that can help sewing machine operators who, like me, work daily for a living in many sewing firms.
You only need to enter your data and the program displays the result in the upper green text boxes. The first (from left to right) column is the text fields for entering the norm (pieces per 8 hours) for the corresponding manipulation. If you are not on an eight-hour workday, fill in the data only in the first column and do not pay attention to what is written in the second column! The second column is the text boxes for entering the time in minutes per unit (normal time) for the corresponding manipulations on an 8 hour working day. Enter in only one column for the corresponding row (first or second) and not in both!
The first three lines of two text boxes are for entering data about manipulations that are performed simultaneously. If you enter data in some of the first three lines, the program automatically displays the total norm and the total norm time in the first two text boxes of the fourth line.
When entering use a point instead of a comma! The comma will not be accepted and the number
will be incorrect!
The third column in the last four rows is the input of the quantity you have worked out so far.
In the last column, the program automatically displays the numbers remaining to reach 100% of the manipulation for that row alone. This way, at any time during the day you will know where you are and how much more you need to meet your norm.
You can use the fourth row as the last three rows if you do not have simultaneous manipulations in the first three rows.
The top green text box shows the total numbers you generated from all the manipulations.
The second (top to bottom) green text box shows the total percentage you have achieved.
The "Reset" button clear all to start from beginning.
