Mobility is responsible for around 50% of the personal carbon emissions of people living in Switzerland. This figure includes air traffic and travel abroad, which in turn account for around half of the emissions from mobility. The Swiss Climate Challenge is an initiative that starts here. It wants to create incentives that will motivate companies and private individuals to reduce their own mobility-related CO₂ emissions.
