Characteristics and Functions:
The app features four main tabs: Support, Journey, Notifications, and Profile.
The Support tab contains a list of key contacts for each new candidate. It lists the people important to the onboarding process (i.e. hiring manager, recruiter, etc.) and provides a way to get in contact with them. Often there are too many points of contact within onboarding and candidates don't know where to submit documents and questions. This section of the app makes it clear where to find all the right information, and whom to contact with questions.
The Journey section of the app features an interactive timeline to map the progress of each task completed during the onboarding process. It shows different tiles that expand and show tasks each step of the way. Starting with the "Welcome" tile which can be accessed prior to your first day with Providence, it outlines the steps of onboarding in the order that they should occur. Candidates can easily see tasks they should complete and can track their progress through an intuitive coding system.
The notifications tab allows you to respond promptly to upcoming due dates and to become aware of newly assigned tasks.
Lastly, candidates can view their own profile which details individual tasks, digital and facilities access, and main account information.
