This the the very first version release
The keyboard is essentially plain AOSP and offers no more special features than prediction, voice and gesture typing. Its offered Christian value currently lies entirely on certain features the keyboard does not offer.
(1) No native support for emojis: While several emojis are okay and have their place in a conversation, many emojis from most used libraries were found inappropriate and/or vain and therefore not expedient for individuals after God's own heart (through Christ). We reckon Christians should be better off with their own curated emoji library if at all considerate.
(2) No native support for GIFs: We generally find GIFs as not expedient at all for those under the yoke of Christ.
(3) No native support for Stickers: Again we as well judge that individuals who seek to excel in their Christian pilgrimage are better off seeking after conservative Christian curated sticker libraries (if at all necessary). As traditional packs tend to be unnecessarily exaggerated, inappropriate or to some material degree vain when looked at in light of evangelical Christianity.
NB. For voice typing, the keyboard depends on the 'Google Voice Typing' app/add-on - This you shall therefore have to enable (or download and enable) separately. We should look into integrating this functionality in future updates.
We aim to integrate more and more Christian-oriented features to the keyboard - in hope to maximize its virtuous impact on the redeemed's earthly pilgrimage.
