Instavans is an on-demand technology that connects shippers with nearby carriers to improve asset utilisation and productivity of the carriers and in turn provide lower shipping rates and improved service delivery to the shippers.
Before downloading the driver app, you must complete your profile at Instavans.com, get registered and trained at the Instavans training facility available in your city.
The Instavans Driver app allows carriers to manage the entire freight movement process within the city. The app will allow the carrier to do the following from their phones:
1- Get notification when a shipment job is available for pickup at a nearby location
2- View available shipments in real time
3- Ability to see a snapshot of the job being offered and being able to accept it
4- Receive driving direction and turn-by-turn navigation
5- Manage the entire workflow at the pickup and drop off locations
6- Enter the invoices to create and print the Lorry Receipt (LR), take pictures of the lock-tags, and the signature of the contact at the pickup location.
7- Cross check the invoices at the time of delivery, take a picture of the POD and lock-tag and the signature of the contact at the pickup location
Instavans allows carriers to put their assets on the Instavans platform for better utilisation and the third party logistics providers to market their excess capacity. At this point we offer truck capacities from 0.5 to 9 tons and offer single pickup to single delivery, single pickup to multiple deliveries and multiple pickups to single delivery.
