Colours:
Colours is an application that allows you to have a quick representation of a classic list/chart of the most used colours by interior designers, painters or in textiles and furniture.
With Colours you can detect a colour through the camera. This is a useful tool to have digital values of a colour used in various surfaces.
The Colours app is made up of various tools becomes together to help people who work in the field of painting, furnishings, construction, drawing and other environments which use colours.
Functionality:
RAL table;
In this section of the Colours application you can have a big picture of the most classic table of RAL colours.
These RAL colours need to be considered as a reference of the real colours as the rendering of devices is different from each other.
Pantone table (PMS);
In this section you can have a classic list of Pantone codes and colours.
Also these colours are to be considered only as a reference of the real Pantone codes as the rendering of the devices is different from one device to another.
Detect/Capture Colour;
This tool is useful for recognizing a colour. In practice, with this tool you can detect the most used colour inside a box located at the middle of screen.
The camera detects the colour perceived in that instant by the camera. It must be considered that the detected colour may be different from that perceived by the human eye as there are several variables to consider such as light, white balance of camera, the rendering of device and more.
RGB colours.
In the digital field, the formation of a colour can be obtained in various ways where one of which is to combine the three basic colours or also called primary colours such as Red, Green and Blue (Red, Green, Blue). This tool allows you to generate or modify colours by changing these values which create the final colour by mixing those three primary colours.
Colours from HSV
HSL (hue, saturation, lightness) or HSB (hue, saturation, brightness) and HSV (hue, saturation, value) are an alternative representation of the RGB colour model.
Hue is one of the basic parameters of a colour where in painting and colour theory it is considered as a pure pigment. Saturation and Value/Lightness allow you to change a colour by creating different shades of a colour without moving away from the base colour.
Favourite colours;
In this section of the application you will find the list of all favourite colours. The colours we want to keep because we use them more often. To save a colour to your favourites you can do it from the "Colour preview" screen with the button with the "favourites" icon.
The application is constantly developing and new tools will also be added.
Our target is to develop an Application (this App, Colours) useful for everyone and for this you could send us your suggestions in the email that you find on the developer page.
