In the new version of the application, we have introduced an option to disable background operation for the application with initiated service of e-TOLL sections. It can be closed by using the "Back" arrow and selecting the appropriate option. We have also launched an even faster possibility to specify the exit gate from a motorway if the gate has not been registered by the system, as well as relevant notifications about the status of the trip.
Polish motorways are covered by various payment systems. Autopay is an app that allows you to pay for almost all toll roads.
Where can I use Autopay payments?
Autopay operates toll sections of the following motorways:
A1 Toruń - Gdańsk - gates with video tolling - a camera reads the vehicle registration number
A2 Konin - Stryków (Łódź) - e-TOLL - payment is made based on mobile phone location)
A4 Bielany Wrocławskie - Sośnica (Gliwice) - e-TOLL - payment is made based on mobile phone location)
A4 Katowice - Kraków - gates with video tolling - a camera reads the vehicle registration number
In Poland there is also a toll section of the A2 motorway (Świecko - Poznań - Konin) where you will pay the toll to an employee at the motorway gate.
In the case of integration with e-TOLL, our toll road payment solution is based on geofencing - vehicle location is checked point by point only in the mobile phone, without transmitting any location data to the Autopay system. A running app is required for these sections. Before you travel, make sure the app is running, location access is granted, and your device's power-saving settings do not hinder Autopay while you are driving.
What should I do before travelling on motorways in Poland with Autopay?
After downloading the app to your device, create an account and add your vehicle, as well as your payment source and enable the toll road segments you are intending to drive on. The whole process is quick and intuitive, and the app is available entirely in English.
Is it secure and safe?
Yes, of course! We protect your data in the app and every transaction is SSL secured. Payments are made via Blue Media S.A. - a domestic payment institution supervised by the Polish Financial Supervision Authority (the body competent to supervise domestic institutions within the meaning of EU regulations).
Can I also use the app off the motorway?
Yes! In Poland you can use Autopay to pay for selected car parks as well as WWWash car washes.
