I/D Cologne Carsharing is a station-based carsharing service. Our vehicles are available for you any time directly on campus at the designated stations in the street "Am Kabellager"! And the best thing about our service? Compared to free-floating, you don't have to look for a parking space at the end of your journey – you can simply park your car back at the station for free. 🤙🏽
What do you need to book our vehicles? Simply the app! 😊
No paperwork, no keys, no waiting - just book via app, open the car and drive off! At the end of the ride, you simply have to lock the car and pay. ✅
Speaking of paying: We like to keep our price as transparent as possible. That’s why you pay 20 cents per minute with all costs included (vehicle, insurance, service, fuel... all in!) and only as long as you're actually on the road. You’ve decided to take a trip to the lake and stay the whole day? As soon as your pay rate reaches 59 Euros, the minute rate automatically changes to the daily rate. Every additional minute is therefore included and for free and your pay rate remains at a maximum 59 Euros per day. 🥳

Ps: Since most of our users will most likely be Germans the language of the app is preset to German. But don’t worry! You can change the language manually when using the app! Click the three stripes at the top left corner in the app, go to “Mein Profil”, scroll down to “Deine Angaben”, click “Bearbeiten” and change “Deutsch” into “English”. All set?
