The Geosafe App is a tool for simplifying the sign-in and sign-out process, and monitoring the location of all individuals (employees, contractors and members of the public), whilst present on an onshore wind farm. It achieves this by utilising GPS technology to identify when an individual enters and exits an onshore wind farm geofence that has been created around the perimeter of the wind farm and by monitoring the individual's movements to allow for anomaly detection; If you remain stationary for long periods of time whilst alone you will be contacted by a member of site management to ensure you are safe and well. Contact details for the Wind Operations Control Centre are available within the app in case you run in to any difficulty during your visit to the wind farm.
