In the fashion world, new designs are presented in the form of sketches drawn manually by hand, before the fabric is cut and sewn. First you draw a basic sketch, the basic form of a model body (croquis) which forms the basis of a sketch. 1) thick paper or picture book
2) a pencil that is not too dark to produce a sketch line.
3) good quality eraser
4) color pencils, markers, watercolors, ink to complete the design illustration
