Parenting involves promoting and supporting the growth and development of a child from infancy until they are adults and able to support themselves.
Both biological and non-biological parents are up to the task of taking care of children.
Whether a parent has prior knowledge of taking care of the child or not, their obligation to the children is their well-being both physically and psychologically. Within the process when a child is growing, new experiences are faced whether it is for the first time or even when taking care of the children more than once.
Normally these parents obtain information from other parents who also are taking care of other children or had prior experience. They also obtain tips and knowledge from health practitioners who create awareness on tips to taking care of children.
Given emerging trends in technology, it would be convenient for the parents to get tips and advice without necessarily visiting health centers or facing their peers who would advise them, this would be through their computers and smartphones which can be easily accessed at their convenience all the time.
We have developed a mobile application that can provide information on the go to parents about taking care of their children by users posting questions and getting responses from other parents.
