T20 World Cup Schedule 2021 is the seventh edition of ICC World Cup Tournament which was announced to be held in Australia from October 18 to November 15 in 2020, but due to "COVID-19 Pandemic" in August 2020, ICC postponed the tournament until 2021 and moved the tournament to India.
ICC announced the tournament will be hosting in India from October 18 to 15 November 2021.
In June 2021, Due to growing rate of COVID-19 Pandemic in India and possiblity of third wave ICC make the announcement that tournament had been moved to United Arab Emirates.
T20 World Cup Schedule 2021 tournament will be played in the UAE and Oman in four venues:
1. Dubai International Cricket Stadium.
2. Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium.
3. Sharjah Cricket Stadium.
4. Oman Cricket Academy Ground.
The qualifier for World Cup 2021;
Papua New Guinea won the Group A qualifier tournament and directly qualify for the World Cup for the first time.
Netherlands qualify on net run rate.
Ireland won the Group B qualifier tournament also on run rate and directly qualify for the World Cup.
Netherlands beat United Arab Emirates by eight(8) wickets and qualify for the World Cup 2021.
Oman qualify for the World Cup 2021 by beating Hong Kong.
