The mission of Severe Weather Reports is to help raise awareness of severe weather events and their associated impacts all around the world, from the USA to Uzbekistan.
In many less developed countries, especially news on such severe events is often hard to come by, however, it is hoped the excellent mobile / cell phone coverage in many of these regions will even here open up an avenue for citizens to report and monitor events in their regions from any android device.
This application will allow users to submit reports for events, and also allow them to view events reported by other uses worldwide on the previous 24 hours, and the previous 7 days.
