PreSense App
The eMagazine, PreSense, which was launched in March 2006 on the suggestion of 11th President of India, Late Dr APJ Abdul Kalam, to promote positive journalism.
PreSense is a ‘digital only’ magazine distributed free of cost through digital mode.
Eminent professionals, scholars and academicians are associated with this eMagazine, and constitute its Editorial Team.
This eMagazine is published by Prime Point Foundation, a Chennai based NGO.
Five successful initiatives
PreSense has five initiatives to its credit, viz.
1. Education Loan Task Force (ELTF) started in 2010 to promote awareness especially among students, about Education Loan.
ELTF has responded to more than 20,000 queries of students.
More than 5000 grievances have been taken up directly with top Management of the Banks.
2. Sansad Ratna Awards started in 2010 jointly with IIT Madras, to honour the top performing Parliamentarians annually, based on performance parameters every year in May-June.
3. Digital Journalists Association of India (DiJAI) started in 2015 to facilitate development of digital journalism skills among students and professionals.
Several workshops have been held. Student Forums have been started in 3 colleges. Chapters are being opened in other centres shortly.
4. Digital Security Association of India (DiSAI) started in 2017 to create awareness about Digital Security and Cyber Law among stakeholders. Some of the serious digital security issues affecting the security of the Nation have been taken up with the concerned Ministers.
5. Next Gen Political Leaders (NGPL)started in October 2018 to develop knowledge and leadership skills among young political leaders fom all political parties.
