Port guide app:
The Port Guide app is a port guide app for pleasure boats.
It contains around 3,000 ports in Europe and the Caribbean.
After installing and downloading the maps and port data, the app can also be used offline on board on your smartphone or tablet without an internet connection.
The ports can be easily found using a map display around your own ship.
The ports are described - as far as researchable data - with well over 100 essential attributes. These are e.g. Port maps, texts describing photos, texts for control and the tourist options as well as very detailed information on all conceivable infrastructure features in the port, but also near the port.
Intelligent filters with entry of your own ship data, an effective search and the saving of personal favorites complete your trip planning perfectly.
The app is rounded off with specially drawn maps and a location-based view which, together with the filters, enable ultra-fast and personalized trip planning.
The app has been created on the basis of a port database that was created by Delius Klasing Verlag together with the ADAC, operated jointly and is constantly maintained and updated. Both partners of this database project together ensure systematic and high-quality data collection and maintenance.
After downloading the app free of charge, you will receive a number of ports free of charge, including all detailed data, and can use it to try out the app.
The data of all other ports are not available free of charge except for the name and the position, but can be purchased as a monthly or annual subscription.
The monthly subscription for access to all ports including all available updates costs € 19.99, the annual subscription costs € 39.99.
This app is part of the ADAC benefit partner program. After entering and checking their membership number, ADAC members therefore receive subscriptions at a reduced preferential price.
