Avocet App for OSV is a easy-to-use and dynamic graphical user interface which calculates the stability and trim for an OSV.
The OSV provided here is a 5218ts displacements 86 meters long and 22 meters wide vessel .The tanks and the vessel deck layout is provided.
You can recreate your own vessel by the configuration menu.
The GZ is calculated using the Simpson Rules
The App provides you with the Weight Distribution curve. You must supply the Buoyancy Curve Data and the LightShip Weight Distribution as well as the length of all tanks in the tank section.
