Ludo is loved and played by hundreds of millions of users daily. It has been one of the fastest growing mobile game ever. All of this have been possible due to the simplicity of the game. Though it is a very simple and fun game, you as a player do can only roll a die and pick a pawn to move. This does get boring sometimes.
Introducing Ludo GenX!
Ludo GenX is a custom made Ludo that ups the traditional Ludo’s numeric randomness. This fun and excitement we were able to introduce in the game by forging an amazing new power die. So, now you don’t just roll ONE but TWO dice. One being the number die and the other one being power die. With the introduction of this exciting power die you every Ludo turn is now complemented with an amazing power that you can exercise.
Let’s see how this new power dice makes the fun Ludo more exciting!
Complementing the numeric die you now a power die with 6 amazing powers
1. 2X: This power allows you to move your pawn TWO times! Isn’t that awesome! You can either move the same pawn twice by tapping on it one more time or you can tap two different pawns. The number of steps the pawn will move is based on the face value of the number die.
2. Skip: With this power the turn of the person who plays after you is skipped! Haha! Pretty exciting isn’t it? If it’s a two player game, you get another chance before your opponent can play!
3. Z Sword: What if I told you that you can get a magical power that can let you strike a pawn down from the safe house? Behold, the unstoppable, magical safe house breaker sword. If you get this on your power die you can strike a player down from safe house.
4. Pass: Sometimes, it is good move to lay low during a close game! Imagine it is just you and your opponent’s last pawn and you don’t wanna get ahead of its pawn just by few steps. You know you’ll make yourself vulnerable of being sent back to square one! Well guess what? You can pass. ;)
5. Thumbs Down: Hard luck! You’re powerless for this turn. Let’s give others some chance to win!
6. Reverse: This will reverse the gameplay order and make it more fun! If it’s a two player game, you get another chance before your opponent can play!
You will always get to roll power die only once per turn. If during your current turn you strike a player down OR your pawn makes it to the winning home, you get another turn that resets the power die turn! Not with six on number nice though!
