To encourage a higher sense of responsibility, you can now install the app on your child's device. Your child can view their tasks and rewards and can mark a task done when a task gets completed. You can monitor their performance on your own device.
The look and feel of the app has been enhanced.
"Point programs are effective way to change behavior" Alan E. Kazdin, Sterling Professor of Psychology and Child Psychiatry, Yale University
A great deal of scientific research shows "point programs" are very effective. The GoodKids app is a fun and easy way to implement a point program in your family. You assign points for each behavior you like their child to develop. As your child demonstrate the behavior, they earn points and can use these points to get rewards that are decided by you and your child. You can also invite other adults to the family you create in the app, like another parent, a grandparent, or a nanny.
To encourage a higher sense of responsibility, your child can also directly participate. You can setup the app on your child's device if they have one. Your child can give points to themselves once they demonstrate a behavior. You can monitor the progress on your own device.
