v1.0 - Updated to use later version 30 of android APIs. Note that this results in a change to the appearance of the file dialogs for load/save functions.
v0.8.2 - First public release
BridgeDealer is an app for manual dealing of preset hands for bridge sessions or bridge lessons, or for reading a hand shuffled board into a PBN file. Preset hands can be obtained from a local PBN file, from a PBN, DLM, or BBO LIN file on a website, or by direct recognition of hand diagrams on various types of bridge results sites. The phone's camera is used for card recognition, and can recognise standard playing cards that use JQKA symbols for the picture cards. Bar coded cards are not required.
For dealing, the phone or tablet is placed on the table and the deck of cards held above the device. Cards are dealt from the bottom of the pack and, for each card, a green arrow is displayed on the phone screen, indicating whether the card should be placed in the North, South, East, or West hand.
For reading a hand shuffled board into a PBN file, the deck must be stacked in the correct order, with all 13 North cards at the bottom of the deck, then the 13 East cards above, then the South cards, finally the West cards. As for dealing, cards are presented one at a time from the bottom of the deck.
