The number plates ("plaques d'immatriculation") on cars, lorries and motorbikes in France show you which département the vehicles come from. See if you can spot all the different départements with this handy app. All 96 départements in Metropolitan France and the 5 overseas départements are included. Add some excitement to long motorway journeys through France or just distract the children with this simple and intuitive game. A few statistics are given about each département and a map shows you where the ones you've seen – and those you haven't – are located. The map also shows the current regions of France, and the old (pre-2016) regions that still appear on most number plates are also listed. Choose between English, French and German languages while playing.
