Parents are a child’s first and most important educator. This App helps parents support their child’s development of language, literacy and numeracy skills in the early years, so they enter school as confident learners.
The App was developed by one of the U.K.s most respected groups of Day Nursery Schools, in recognition that the support they provide to parents is as important as the their work with the children.
Seymour House were the only early years provider to be involved in the Government’s Maths Hub initiative to improve maths teaching in the U.K. The resources in the App also support communication, language and literacy and are the subject of a research project with the University College London, Institute of Education.
