A large number of people have been migrating into the capital city of Delhi in search of livelihood opportunities. It has been estimated that about 4 to 5 Lakh street vendors and hawkers are operating in Delhi today and are an integral part of the functioning of Delhi. This project aims to collect the detailed database of economic and social aspects of all existing vendors and hawkersin different Zones of Delhi by conducting demand surveys and creating the MIS database for future interventions and regularization for street vendors in Delhi.
