Video Call Widget for Whatsapp allows you to place a shortcut on your home screen that will directly video call a contact.
The widget is also great for visually impaired people, as the image is freely re-sizable. Set up this widget to a loved one with low vision to help them keep in touch.
HOW TO USE
Simply open the widgets screen from you device's home, drag the Video Call Widget and place it on your home screen. You will be prompted to choose a contact from your contact list, then you are free to resize and move the widget as you desire.
Note: The widget cannot get contact avatars from Whatsapp, so it is required to assign an image to the contact you are placing a shortcut for in your device's built-in contacts app.
PERMISSIONS
- Read contacts: To select the contact for video calling
- Phone: To invoke a Whatsapp video call with the chosen contact
- Network: Anonymous crash reports
