You can check your MOT history with this car checker (vehicle MOT history checker) app. All you need to do is enter the registration number (number plate) of the vehicle.

This MOT history checker (MOT test history checker) displays green if the vehicle has a PASS for its MOT test and provides the date when it is next due. If the vehicle has failed its MOT in the past at any time, then 'FAIL' will be displayed in red.
You’ll be able to check when the vehicle was registered with the DVLA, if the MOT is valid, check the MOT test history for each MOT test, including; the mileage recorded, the parts failed or any minor problems.
You will be provided with information about:

✓ The expiry date of the MOT test

MOT advisories (MOT advisory notice items) are provided for advice. For some of these, if they become more serious, the vehicle may no longer be roadworthy and could require immediate attention.
