GPS Inventory allows you to create a catalog of geolocated assets.
Let's say you have equipment or (general) items in different locations,
i.e. phototraps, water-sensors, wells, trees to inspect, park assets, etc.
Instead of navigating to every single item by their GPS coordinates, you simply select the item on the maps screen,
and navigate directly. Once there you might want to add or update the item description.
How to use:
Add your first item from the main screen.
Enter a unique title and description, and update the GPS-Position of your item with the marker button.
Alternatively, you can specify its Latitude and Longitude directly with decimal numbers.
Press 'OK' once you want to store your new item.
On top of the screen, you find a search bar and the button for the map-view of your items on the list.
By typing a search term, the app will immediately update the list to filter titles and descriptions by their best match.
The Map-button will display those filtered items in a google map.
Once you click an item on the chart, you will find the "navigate to"- and "Google Map"-buttons on the bottom-right of your screen.
On your home screen, you find the 'EXPORT TO KML' option.
This will generate a text-file that can be directly imported to Google Earth or other applications capable of processing the KML-format.
Send this generated text via email or other media, and copy/paste it into your KML-application.
