A mobile application (for Android-based devices) intended for use by hotel guests, as well as specialised hardware (a Bluetooth switch) to control the lights outside each guest room. In addition, integration to third-party service providers enables additional functionality.
To navigate in the hotel, using Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) beacons and the cloud-based Proxima wayfinding software.
The mobile app makes it possible for a registered guest to access the following functionality.
• Indoor position and indoor navigation
• A Bluetooth-controlled light at each room indicates the guest’s proximity to the guests allocated room when navigating to the room.
• Unlocking the Bluetooth-enabled door lock.
