Take a screenshot in one of the two ways –
A. Press and hold the “Volume down” and “Power” buttons together for about 2 seconds.
B. Press and hold the “Home” and “Power” buttons together for about 2 seconds.
How to use the Copy Screen Text app?
A. Take a screenshot of any desired page/image/video filled with text content.
B. Share the screenshot with the Copy Screen Text app.
C. The App extracts the text content and displays it on your device screen.
D. Edit/Select essential text.
E. Copy the selected text onto the clipboard by touching the copy icon at the bottom right corner of your mobile screen.
F. To share, paste the text at a chosen location.

1. Extract English language text from screenshots
You may choose to pull out text content from diverse sources like social media content, user-generated content, shared community images, screen captures of social group content, video screen grabs, digital content, and web pages.
2. Edit/Select English language text for sharing
On opening a screenshot through the Copy Screen Text App, the content drawn out of the screenshot is displayed on the mobile device screen. Now, the user is provided with two options.
First, the user can clip the content to share only the desired text portion with people beyond the copy screen text app.
Second, the user may select the entire text or the required text fragment, cut/copy and paste it in the text box of other apps like WhatsApp, Facebook Status/Messenger, Google search engine, etc.
