Description:

The training of kittens begins with their social skills - the more they are exposed at a young age, the less they will shock or surprise them as they age. As soon as they can walk without mom's help, kittens tackle new situations with the confidence and curiosity that make cats famous! Kittens will be afraid for at least 3 to 7 weeks, so they will be more open and accept new experiences and changes in their environment. After this age, the kittens will become more careful, so it is important that your breeder or your rescue shelter present your animal as much as possible before collecting it, ideally between 8 and 13 weeks (depending on its breed and breeder).

Of course, your kitten's emotional development does not stop at just 12 weeks, so you can continue to train your kitten once at home. Try some of these tips to help your kitten grow even more:

Invite a variety of friends to your home to help your kitten get used to all kinds of different people - different ages, genders, heights, hair color and more!
If you don't have children, invite a few, making sure they know they have to take care of the kitten, especially when they meet them for the first time.
You may know someone with a dog who accepts cats. If so, ask them to bring their pet to meet your kitten. Dogs must be well trained and able to "stay" - even in the excitement of meeting a new friend!
While training your new kitten, take it out in the car for short trips to get used to car trips from an early age. Offer special treatment on your return to associate the trip with a positive reward
