The Book of Monotheism
The Book of Tawheed focused on the unification of worship, which is the unification of divinity, and the warning against major and minor polytheism, with talk about the unification of the Names and Attributes, and clarification of evidence from the Qur’an and Sunnah on the danger of polytheism, and an explanation of what God sent His Messengers with from monotheism.
The book, Kitab al-Tawhid, began with a statement of the unification of worship; Because most of the people of his time were ignorant of this monotheism, and fell into many actions and sayings that contradict it, then he concluded his book with the Unification of the Names and Attributes so that this book would be comprehensive of the three types of monotheism.
Sheikh Ismail bin Saad bin Ateeq said about the Book of Tawheed: “A new style in people’s understanding of the purposes of monotheism, as it was made on circular doors, each circle being spread wider than its sister.
The first circle: is the knowledge of the monotheism with which God sent his prophets and messengers.
The second circle: achieving that unification.
The third circle: Fear of all kinds of polytheism.
The fourth: protection of monotheism.
