This is the new version of Package of Practices ( POP ) for Agriculture
The objective of the App is to provide information to the farmers how to cultivate the crops in a scientific manner so that the farmers can ripe benefits. Good Agricultural Practices will help to sustain in the production of food, fiber, or other plant or animal products using farming techniques that protect the environment, public health, human communities, and animal welfare. This mobile app provide the content documented on the best practices and procedure to sow different crops by the farmers. The content provided by the Department of Agriculture, Government of Meghalaya acts as the guidelines for farmers for growing different crops like paddy, potato, vegetables, etc. The content in the app is available in English and Khasi ( Regional Local Language ).
