Khalil's explanation
A book explaining Khalil from the mothers of Maliki jurisprudence rich in the jurisprudence of the branches was written by Khalil bin Ishaq bin Musa bin Shuaib, Zia al-Din Abu al-Mawddah al-Masri known as al-Jundi, one of the famous Maliki jurisprudents.
His father was a Hanafi madhhab, and he heard from Ibn Abd al-Hadi, and he read on al-Rashidi in Arabic and Usul, and on Abdullah al-Munufi in Maliki jurisprudence.
He wore a soldier's uniform and did not change it, and he earned his living. Khalil's explanation
He became famous, and taught the Maliki school in the Sheikhuniyah school.
He has a commentary on Khalil on “Mukhtasar Ibn al-Hajib” he called al-Tawhid, and al-Mukhtasar (printed) in jurisprudence is known as Mukhtasar Khalil, and many have explained it, rituals, and drugs of understanding in relation to translations and science.
He died in the year seven hundred and seventy-six, and it was said: the year sixty-seven.
The well-known Maliki scholars, and one of his most famous works is the explanation of Khalil al-Mukhtasar, which is called “Mukhtasar Khalil.” In it he collected a summary of the jurisprudence of the Maliki school of thought in a very brief way.
