To be honest, I only realized how much of my home decor had thrived when I decided to start brainstorming for an area of our apartment to photograph for this blog post. I found inspiration for these photos in a post on Artful Bohemian Spaces, inspired by my visit to the local thrift store a few weeks ago. It was hard for me to sit down to take a photo of all the blooming, self-decorated finds under $15.
As I will show you in a moment, I furnished my house with frugal home decor and provided it with some of my favorite finds from the savings bank store. Thrift stores sell things that are in excellent condition at a fraction of the cost, and people occasionally vacate their homes. Some of these things are in better shape, but they are also more expensive than the average savings account.
