Developmental Assessment
One of the biggest challenges in pediatric behavioural health today is late diagnosis of developmental conditions. In the case of autism, diagnosis is on average, 3 years later than is possible. As a result, many children do not receive the right care when it matters most - during early childhood.
To tackle this problem, Thallos Health has developed a free and easy-to-use smartphone-based assessment that enables parents (and other caregivers) to monitor and support a child's developmental progress anytime, anywhere. anywhere. Our goal is to make early developmental screening universally accessible.
The assessment is intended for use on children aged 0-6 years and covers all major milestones (9, 12, 18, 24, 30, 36, 42, 48, 60 and 72months) and intervening ages. This assessment provides a holistic evaluation of a child's developmental progress and behavioural health across 7 categories with additional questions that test for signs of autism.
If your child does show signs of having a developmental condition(s) such as autism, we will recommend that you speak to your paediatrician, child psychologist or other healthcare specialist.

Assessment covers 7 developmental categories
Adaptive refers to how a child adapts to their environment and their ability to do things independently. It covers age appropriate life skills such as dressing, showering, eating, chores etc.
Cognition assesses how your child thinks, remembers, gathers and organizes information and much more. It covers programs such as making choices, delayed instructions, reasoning, recall, sequencing, and problem solving.
Functional Academic general knowledge, and functional skills like learning about money and its use in everyday settings, telling time, reading and comprehension, storytelling etc.
Language & Communication covers all the different ways a child understands and communicates such as social initiation, gestures, vocabulary, complex instructions, etc.
Motor Skills assesses a child’s control, co-ordination and balance in gross and fine motor tasks such as jumping, hopping, stacking, and drawing.
Play Skills are an important part of a child’s life. It is how children learn about themselves and the world around them. This category covers parallel play, independent play, pretend and cooperative play, etc.
Social Skills refers to how a child interacts with other children and adults around him/her. It covers programs such as social language, interaction, social rules, nonverbal social behaviours, etc.
